The Forums is now located at using a separate domain and the forum has lots of added features like calendars, chat, photo galleries and lots more. The forum categories and other features are still under configuration so feel free to join and even request to moderate a section plus the more that join the merrier as we will add more downloads, tutorials and more questions will result in more postings.
Forum Registration is now quite different as the only link to the registration page is on the home page, on the top right hand side in the "Member Details" box. After registration you need to introduce yourself with more details plus what access you want so the moderators can approve further access to the forums.
Forum Features now features some fun and games to keep members amused including sudoku, flash games, bookmaking, chat, and photo galleries. Using the forum cash features you can use the bank, stockmarket, shop and auctions so the forum caters to most users even those who are not interested in the main topics.
Forum Advertising is now allowed but you need to properly register and intruduce yourself to advertise in our "Advertising" or "Announcements" topics. Another way of advertising is via the top banner on the forums or topical ads replacing the embedded google ads after each intitial topic post.
The Gold download club is defunct and the existing members have been sent a DVD of all 2.6gig available downloads so until we create a new club to replace that one our Gold Download club members unfortunately will miss out on the great downloadable products and online tutorials. A new membership site may open but will not use the forums scripts as they are far too insecure and all members will be notified of it's opening.
Microbee Users and Collectors will be supported by our CDRom of BBS archives, Software and information as a very reaonable price plus Microbee repairers will be able to get Eproms programmed and customised. Other support for Microbee Users and Collectors may be added to a blog rather than the forums due to security problems.
CP/M and Z80 processor based machines are well served by the CP/m archives on CD from the range of now public domain software that in it's hayday was quite expensive. Eventually the Wiseware forums will have copies of cp/m source code for both the Z80 and the 8086 cpu's and the complete Walnut Creek CP/M archive CD will be available.
If you are Amtel PIC developer, a developer or any modern single chip microprocessors then your lack of support for our forums is one of the reasons for the premature closing of the forums. But Wiseware has reopened the forums using a different domain and hopes to now provide more services so join now an show off your projects.
